On November 5th, the city came together to recognize our inner-city youth filmmakers. Kids in the Spotlight had the honor of hosting the 2022 KITS Film Awards, where we celebrated the amazing achievements of our young creatives.
Our VIP stakeholders were invited to an exclusive hour where we could celebrate our work and network with other thought leaders. Not only was the company top-notch, but we were able to enjoy fine wine and delightful snacks throughout the evening.
But nothing was more moving than witnessing the excitement our kids felt walking down the red carpet for their feature film, Run. The applause, cheers, and supportive cheers from the crowd left the theater in a frenzy, and our hearts overflowing with pride.
It was an honor to be part of this night and thank all the volunteers, sponsors, and attendees who are committed to uplifting foster youth, KITS, and representation in media arts. We couldn’t have done it without you.
